Hey, friends!
The race ended two months ago and I’ve been home for about 6 weeks! It has been such a joyful season and an undoubtedly challenging one. Home feels all too familiar but ever changing and I’m still trying to figure out what it looks like to fit into the environment that the Lord has placed me in!
So, now that things are settling down, I want to let you all in on what is next as I begin to transition into the next season!
I will be attending CGA – Center for Global Action with Adventures in Missions in Gainesville, GA which is a 5 month leadership program starting January 18th!
You might be wondering what exactly CGA is and why I might be going:
Well, CGA is a leadership program with a mission to “mobilize a generation to be passionate followers of Jesus who live out their faith whether at home, professionally, or church planting overseas.” This program is designed for Alumni World Racers and will take place at the Adventures in Missions base in Georgia!
The Lord introduced the idea of CGA to me in month 8 of the race through my squad mentor. However, I was working hard to stay present and spent little time while on the race praying about what was next.
In late September, my squad and I met back up at the AIM base in Georgia for our Project Searchlight which is a week of re-entry training! I was then re-introduced to the idea of CGA and as I have spent the last few weeks praying, the Lord has given me peace as I take this next step!
Pursuing CGA means that I will be fundraising again but thankfully it will not be as much as the World Race! Please prayerfully consider partnering with me as I begin this new season with Adventures in Missions!

Thank you so much for all of the support you’ve given me over the last year and for and investing in me and all that the Lord has in store! I couldn’t do all of this without you!
With all my love,
Rachel
